Understanding GroveSite Roles

All kinds of working groups use GroveSite to stay organized and share important knowledge including: product retailers/designers/manufacturers, corporate or consulting project teams, real estate developers/architects, legal case teams, committees, task forces, seminar groups, schools, publishing teams, associations, professional coalitions.

GroveSite permissions are based on a user's role in a site. This role determines what content can be seen and updated in each page in the site.

Participants can:

  • View pages
  • Participate in Discussions
  • Upload files
  • Import records

Moderators can also:

  • Update information, images and files on sites
  • Send broadcast emails

Site Administrators can also:

  • Customize logo, headers, footers, and color scheme of sites
  • Define website pages
  • Enroll members in the sites
  • Manage page security and exceptions
  • Run site reports

Organization Administrators can also:

  • Initialize the group default website
  • Set access and security level of sites
  • Create many websites, each for a different group or project team within your company or organization
  • Manage administrators
  • Manager users
  • Manager Organization Profile
  • Run organization reports
